Portugal Faces Czech Republic; Turkey Gears Up for Strong Start Against Georgia

At 7 PM tonight, Tuesday, the Turkish national team will commence its journey in the UEFA Euro 2024 with a match against Georgia.

Turkey, which was considered a dark horse before Euro 2020, exited the competition after losing all three of its group stage matches. However, the team showcased a remarkable performance during the qualifiers for the Germany edition, topping a group that included the 2022 World Cup runner-up Croatia.

Georgia, with the presence of Valencia's goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, who has attracted interest from several major European clubs, and striker Georges Mikautadze, who shone on loan at Metz last season, boasts talent at both ends of the field.

Meanwhile, Portugal will kick off its Euro 2024 campaign in Germany against the Czech Republic at the Red Bull Arena. Portugal is in Group F, alongside Turkey, Georgia, and the Czech Republic.

The match between Portugal and the Czech Republic is set to begin at 10 PM Cairo time today, Tuesday, June 18, at Red Bull Arena.

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo aims to continue making history and achieving record-breaking feats in the tournament.
