Kevin Mainoo, one of England's emerging talents, expressed his confidence in Jude Bellingham's potential to win the Ballon d'Or during a press conference at the Three Lions' training camp. Mainoo also discussed his debut against Serbia and his excitement over the anticipated renewal of Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag's contract.

Mainoo praised Bellingham's performance in England's 1-0 victory over Serbia in their European Championship opener. "Yes, definitely, he can win the Ballon d'Or. Everyone knows what a fantastic player he is. We see him every day in training. He's just as nice a guy as he is demanding. He has high standards. Playing with him is great. He's a Ballon d'Or candidate," Mainoo said.

The 19-year-old Manchester United midfielder made his England debut in March in a friendly match against Brazil. Born to Ghanaian parents, Mainoo definitively chose to represent England, expressing his pride in his heritage while fulfilling his dream to play for the Three Lions. "I'm proud of my Ghanaian heritage, but it's always been a dream to play for England. I'm happy to be here. I thought about it, but I want to play for England," he explained.

Mainoo also took the opportunity to thank his United coach, Erik ten Hag, for his support and the opportunities he has received. "I'm happy to build things with him. I won two trophies and I hope there are more to come. I'm at peace knowing he'll be the coach when we come back," he said.

As Mainoo looks forward to continuing his development under ten Hag, his belief in Bellingham's potential and his commitment to England underscore his ambition and dedication to both his club and national team.
